A-Z Measure List
The Community Checkup reports results for more than 100 measures, most of them standardized measures used nationally. This helps us see how our state is doing. The Washington State Common Measure Set for Health Care Quality and Cost is a subset of measures that enable a common way of tracking important elements of health, and shows how the health care system is performing in Washington state. It also provides important information for private and public health care purchasers and sends a clear market signal to providers and health plans about expected performance. The measures are focused on access to care, prevention, care for acute and chronic conditions, patient experience and cost. The Common Measure Set is one component of the Healthier Washington initiative. The measure set will evolve over time, adapting to changing conditions to include other priority issues in health care in the future.
